Where can I buy a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on a tripod manual?
You have aspirations to one day photograph? I can not think of another reason to go with a SCT. I have a 10 "Newtonian Dob that fits in my car, set to 3 minutes, and costs so a similar sized room costs SCT. If you want in astrophotography, consider getting a more open field for observation flights, and a much smaller extent in a proportion much lower mount for photography. The stars do not go anywhere - so you can make long exposures (or a lot shorter). So no need to open both for photography. An assembly of a small telescope costs much, much less a huge scope mount. Orion sells MNCs - and you can get just the optical tube by itself if desired. Then you can get what you want to mount. You do not have to buy all at once. Go to page, click the telescopes, drag Cassegrains down. Then Accessories, drag down to Mounts and tripods. If you're planning on Ebay or Craig, you should consider Astromart. My Club has MNCs and other areas which could be provided. And while I think there is only one optimal range, club members have all sorts of scope made. So, I have seen all these things - cheap refractors, binoculars high end, $ 20,000 APO refractor, 6, 8, 9.25, 10 and 11 inch SCTs, Dobs 4.5-inch to 28 inches, and more.
