Does anyone know a source for a large brass tube, approx. 50 mm, to use the repair of an old telescope?
My dad has had a telescope since childhood. Hand is something like a telescope. The canyon became dented somewhere along the way and I would replace the barrel for it can work again. The final piece maintains the lens in the barrel. The barrel is about 50 mm in diameter and 30 cm or a foot long. The telescope has no mark manufacturers in it, so I do not know where to start looking for replacement parts. I think if I can find the exact size of the pipe that I can fix it though. Thanks for any help with this matter.
