What is the value of a 45 cal. S&W model 4586 with the Idaho State Police logo and night sites.?
45 cal Model 4586 was designed for the ISP and no longer carried by their force. It was replaced by Glock.
JD called it pretty close. The only thing I will add is that unless it is a Factory issued commemorative, it really doesn't add to the value except to the specialized few who might collect (in this case) law enforcement firearms. Anyone can have a run made of "commorative" guns. a business, a group of friends etc. It doesn't mean that they are collectable. I even know of a square dance club that had some made up with their club logo on them. Many of the officers had the option of buying the firearms when the department switched over. usually less than half the department will buy them for sentimental reasons. The rest get traded in or sold off.
