The parts are built to scale and the kits contain detailed instructions with care being taken to pre-empt any problem that wooden boat model builder is likely to encounter when on his way to creating a boat model of his choice by putting it together with the help of a kit and some basic tools.
Many companies and websites dealing with readymade models and kits have now come forward with a lot of know how and offer excellent discounts for the discerning hobbyist.
