what's average wind speed broken arrow ok?
thinking about using a wind generator
I grew up in good old BA before I moved to Colorado. I'd have to say I don't think BA is a good place for a wind generator. I studied wind speeds as a meteorology student at OU. Wind speeds in eastern Oklahoma are a lot slower than in the western part of the state, because there are so many trees and hills in the east. Those slow the wind A LOT.
Plus, since BA has expanded so much lately, there's not really anywhere good left to put a wind farm. Maybe farther south, around Glenpool or Okmulgee.
